Established in 1974, Zagazig University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Zagazig (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Sharqia. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt, Zagazig University (ZU) is a coeducational Egyptian higher education institution. Zagazig University (ZU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ZU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
